My Second Home program (MM2H)

Malaysia My Second Home program (MM2H) is promoted by the Government of Malaysia to allow foreigners who fulfill certain criteria, to stay in Malaysia for as long as possible on a multiple-entry social visit pass.

  • Low threshold: Upon approval, open a fixed deposit account of RM300,000 (aged below 50 years old) or RM150,000 (aged 50 and above) in Malaysia.

  • Quick process: It only take about 3 months to go through the approval process.

  • After a period of one year, the participant can withdraw up to RM150,000.00 (aged below 50 years old) or RM50,000 (aged 50 and above) for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.

  • The Social Visit Pass is initially for a period of ten (10) years, and is renewable.

  • With multiple-entry convenience and no restriction on duration of stay, the participant and their family can enjoy top education and healthcare environment at lower cost.

  • The participant can apply for tax exemption for vehicle purchases.

How to apply MM2H

1、Application requirement

Applicants aged below 50:

  • Asset requirement:At least RM500,000(Provide bank deposit statement)

  • Monthly income requirement:At least RM10,000(Provide latest 3 months’ salary slip and bank statement)

  • Investment requirement:Fixed deposit of RM300,000 at any bank in Malaysia(One-year automatic transfer)
    After a period of one year, participant who fulfills the fixed deposit criterion can withdraw up to RM150,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.

Applicants aged 50 and above:

  • Asset requirement:At least RM350,000(Provide bank deposit statement)

  • Monthly income requirement:At least RM10,000(Provide latest 3 months’ salary slip or retirement pension and bank statement)

  • Investment requirement:Fixed deposit of RM150,000 at any bank in Malaysia(One-year automatic transfer)
    After a period of one year, participant who fulfills the fixed deposit criterion can withdraw up to RM50,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes.
